About me

I’m Matthew. I’m a writer who uses storytelling to solve problems and shape experiences. With an interdisciplinary background in Professional Writing and Dramaturgy, I connect creativity and strategy to craft clear, compelling narratives. My work spans marketing, copywriting, and theater, always with a focus on engaging audiences in meaningful and delightful ways.

I was a marketing intern for Deeplocal and at Gumband, where I gained experience in branding and marketing for experience design. At Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama, I was the dramaturg for The Grown-Ups and I adapted and dramaturged Macbeth. I also produced two original works: No Strings Attached: A Puppet Murder Mystery and Bears, bears, bears. In these experiences, I’ve found the most effective way to communicate complex topics is simple and concise storytelling; I’m interested in continuing my storytelling practices in careers in marketing, copywriting, and strategy.

Aside from that, I love to play guitar (I am working on an album), drink coffee, bike and dance (like nobody is watching).
